From about 12 in a private dining space, up to about 50 in the exclusive private lounge in the Old Quarter and about 90 in the main dining room at West Lake. For a larger party, the whole restaurant can be yours.

What does a wedding cost per guest?

BARBAK prices per guest rather than per table, from 800.000đ++ to 3.500.000đ++, depending on the menu, the date and the format. Tell us the budget you have in mind and we build the menu around it.

Do you handle the decoration?

Table flowers and candles are included. If you want a particular look, your own decorator works on site while BARBAK handles the menu and the service. That is how many celebrations here are built.

Can we bring our own decorator and photographer?

Yes. Your decorator, photographer and videographer are all welcome to work on site. We only ask for the set-up schedule in advance so we can plan around it.

Is there a screen for a photo slideshow?

Yes. Both venues have a video projector for a slideshow, and karaoke for later in the evening.

Do you offer a free flow drinks package?

Yes. Free flow beer at 500.000đ per guest and house wine at 750.000đ per guest, over four hours. Long enough for the speeches, the dinner and the part where everyone stays.

Which venue photographs better?

West Lake has a cathedral-style main dining room, vast and light-filled, with an outdoor space looking over the lake. The Old Quarter is a warm townhouse under a glass roof in Hoàn Kiếm. Two different looks, so choose the one closest to your style.

How far ahead should we book?

One to three months for a full-restaurant buyout. Weekend dates in the wedding season are held earlier still.

A room that needs no dressing

The main dining room at West Lake is cathedral-style, vast and light-filled, a rare sense of space in Hanoi. The Old Quarter is a warm townhouse under a glass roof. The photographs are good before anyone hangs a thing.

Table flowers and candles are included. If you have your own decorator, they work on site while BARBAK handles the menu and the service. That is how many of the celebrations here are built.

The wedding menu is built for your evening, from the charcoal grill with its skewers and premium sharing cuts to fresh seafood and raw dishes. The same kitchen that cooks for the restaurant every day.

The menu

Each wedding menu is built for the evening, served as a set menu at the table or laid out to share down the middle. The charcoal grill is BARBAK's signature, with skewers and premium sharing cuts, alongside a full Mediterranean menu, fresh seafood and raw dishes. There is a real vegetarian choice for the guests who need one.

BARBAK has hosted private weddings and receptions, alongside events for an international consulting firm, a national airline, banks, three foreign chambers of commerce and four international schools. Several clients have come back a second and a third time.
